Yoga, Pilates and Barre are not just for fitness. Natalie’s motivation and inspiration is for overall wellbeing, calming the active mind, and exploring the mind and body on a physical, mental and spiritual journey. Physical fitness, strength and flexibility are side-effects of practising yoga, Pilates and Barre but it doesn’t have to be your motivation.
Yoga - A yoga class will typically comprise seated, standing and supine asanas (postures) to bring about a feeling of physical strength and balance, pranayama (breath practice) to bring about a feeling of emotional balance and relaxation and meditation to draw upon your mental and spiritual focus.
Pilates – This class will provide an all over body workout which will bring about a feeling of balance and wellbeing. Pilates exercises have a focus on core strength as well as developing flexibility. Natalie’s Pilates classes comprise traditional Pilates exercises as well as other contemporary Pilates inspired movements.
Barre Fitness – A fun workout class combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. The good news is you don't need to be a dancer or a gymnast to feel the benefit and see results. Just come along, have fun and release your inner dancer!
